There’s a hole in the wooden bridge and Dino can’t get across. The box holds squares, bars, L shapes, triangles, parallelograms, trapezoids… tap a block to turn it 90°, drag it into the hole, and once the hole is filled exactly the bridge is fixed. Kids practise spatial geometry and number sense: look at the shape of the hole first and picture whether a block will fit once it’s turned; every block shows its area in squares (a half-square triangle is ½), and under the level name you can see the size of the hole and how much is still missing — 1 + 2 + 3 makes exactly 6, the very beginning of area and addition. 50 levels from gentle to tricky (two blocks → three → triangles and slanted edges → blocks that only fit after a ↔ flip → decoy blocks you don’t need → five blocks), all machine-verified. How many moves are left is computed exactly on every level (every way to fill the hole is listed, and each block’s turns and placements are counted): in 🌱 Easy, blocks that can go in right now get a green house, blocks that need turning get a ↻, misplaced ones an orange ↩. Every move can be taken back, so nobody gets stuck. Tap Dino for a three-step lesson (he talks!).
- Goal: there’s a hole in the wooden bridge. Fill it exactly with the blocks from the box and Dino 🦖 can walk to the flag 🚩 on the other side.
- How to play: press and drag a block into the hole; when you let go it snaps to the nearest spot where it fits (a green dashed outline shows you first). Tap a block in the box to turn it 90°; the ↺ ↻ buttons below turn it too, and levels with ↔ let you flip it. Tap a block in the hole to take it back. On a desktop: Enter places, R turns, F flips, Z is undo.
- What the numbers mean: under every block is its area in squares (a half-square triangle is ½); under the level name you can see how big the hole is and how much is still missing. Work out “3 missing” first, then look for a 3-square block — that’s the very beginning of area and addition.
- Dino the coach: Dino stays quiet while you play, so kids think for themselves. Tap Dino for the tutorial — three steps (one block that fits → turn it first → three blocks, 1 + 2 + 3 = 6).
- The way home: under the bridge, Dino stands on the stone that shows how many moves are left (one move = one turn, one placement or one take-back); good moves hop forward, bad ones hop back. Every level lists every way to fill the hole and computes the exact count, so the number never lies.
- Color hints (🌱 Easy only): blocks that can go in right now get a green house; blocks that need turning first get a green ↻ (or ↺, ↔); a misplaced block in the hole gets an orange ↩, a correct one a ✓. Once a block is selected, the turn buttons go green (closer) or orange (farther) too.
- Difficulty: 🌱 Easy has color hints; 🌿 Normal keeps only the move counter; 🌳 Hard keeps only Dino on the stone path (no numbers). Every move can be taken back, so you can never get stuck — experiment freely.
- Stuck? Press “🖐 Show me”: a little hand points at the block to move and a yellow dashed outline shows where it goes; it also points once after 10 idle seconds. “↩ Undo” takes a move back.
- Levels: 50 levels from gentle to tricky (two blocks → three → triangles, parallelograms and trapezoids → ↔ flips → decoy blocks you don’t need → five blocks), all machine-verified; tap “Level N ▾” to jump to any level — cleared ones get a ⭐. Fix the bridge in the minimum number of moves for a “Perfect”.
- Settings: difficulty, level, sound and voice are tucked away by default so little fingers can’t mess with them; tap the 🌼 above the game to open them, tap again to close.
- For parents: this is tangram meets jigsaw: kids have to rotate the shape in their head and judge whether it will fit once turned — the core of spatial reasoning. The square count on each block turns “area” into something you can count and add; the decoy levels later demand working out which blocks add up exactly before touching anything.
