What LetPiano is

LetPiano is a piano learning game for children on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Notes fall from the top of the screen and the child taps the matching piano key in time to score points. Each song has three modes — Listen & Watch (no-fail practice), Play (the falling-note challenge), and a Music Quiz — so kids learn key positions, note names, and rhythm while they play. It is completely free, ad-free, collects no data, and works fully offline.

Requirements

iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 / macOS 14 or later. The same app runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
No account or login required. No internet connection needed.
No microphone, camera, or location permissions are requested.

Common questions

Is LetPiano really free? Are there ads or in-app purchases?

Yes — the initial release is 100% free with every feature unlocked, no ads, and no in-app purchases. You unlock new songs and key skins simply by playing.

There's no sound / the piano is silent.

Check that your device volume is turned up and not muted, and that the silent switch (iPhone/iPad) is off. In the app, open Settings and make sure sound effects are enabled. LetPiano generates all sound on-device, so no internet is needed.

How do I change the keyboard size (number of octaves)?

Open Settings → Octave range. By default it adapts to your device (1 octave on iPhone, 2 on iPad, 3 on Mac) and can be set up to 4 octaves.

How do I switch between Chinese and English?

Open Settings → Language. This also switches note names between do-re-mi and C-D-E.

My child finds the songs too hard / too easy.

Each song offers three difficulties. Choose Beginner for wait-mode (the song waits until the right key is pressed and never fails), Common for the scored falling-note game, or Advanced for staff sight-reading. You can create separate family profiles so each person keeps their own progress.

How is my child's data handled?

All progress and profiles are stored on the device only and never uploaded. LetPiano collects no data at all. See our Privacy Policy.

LetPiano 真的免費嗎？有廣告或內購嗎？

是的——首發版本 100% 免費、所有功能全開、沒有廣告、也沒有任何 App 內購買。玩遊戲就能解鎖新歌與琴鍵造型。

沒有聲音 / 鋼琴不會響。

請確認裝置音量已調高、未靜音，iPhone/iPad 的靜音開關已關閉。並在 App 的「設定」中確認音效已開啟。LetPiano 的聲音都在裝置本機合成，不需要網路。

如何調整鍵盤大小（八度數）？

進入「設定 → 八度範圍」。預設會依裝置自動調整（iPhone 1 個、iPad 2 個、Mac 3 個八度），最多可設到 4 個八度。

如何切換中文 / 英文？

進入「設定 → 語言」。切換時音名也會在 do-re-mi 與 C-D-E 之間切換。

孩子覺得歌太難 / 太簡單。

每首歌都有三種難度：初學為等待模式（彈對才前進、不會失敗）、一般為計分的掉落音符遊戲、進階為五線譜視奏。也可以建立不同的家庭檔案，讓每個人各自保存進度。

孩子的資料怎麼處理？

所有進度與檔案只存在裝置本機，不會上傳。LetPiano 完全不收集任何資料。詳見隱私權政策。
