How do I open files in Lode? / 怎麼在 Lode 開啟檔案?

EN: Drag a file or folder onto the Lode window to add it to the Viewer. You can also use File → Open from the macOS menu bar, or press ⌘O.

中:直接把檔案或資料夾拖曳到 Lode 視窗即可加入 Viewer。也可以從選單列使用 File → Open,或按 ⌘O

How do I compare two files or folders? / 怎麼比較兩個檔案或資料夾?

EN: Switch to Folder Compare (⌘3) and drag one folder to each pane, or switch to File Compare (⌘4) and drop a file into each pane. You can also right-click files in the Viewer tree and choose Add to File Compare.

中:切換到 Folder Compare(⌘3)後,分別拖曳兩個資料夾到左右欄;或切換到 File Compare(⌘4)拖入兩個檔案。也可以在 Viewer 的樹狀圖右鍵選擇 Add to File Compare

Where are my settings stored? / 設定存在哪裡?

EN: Lode saves your workspace (open files, layout, preferences) automatically as a .json snapshot in its App Support container. You can clear it from Settings → Working Status → Clear workspace. Your actual files are never moved — Lode only reads them in place.

中:Lode 會自動把工作區(開啟的檔案、版面、偏好設定)存成 .json 快照,位於 App Support container。可從 Settings → Working Status → Clear workspace 清除。你的原始檔案不會被搬動——Lode 只在原位讀取。

How do I use full-text search? / 怎麼用全文搜尋?

EN: Switch to Search mode (⌘6). Add one or more root paths, type your query, and press Enter. Results stream in real time. Toggle Regex for regular expression search.

中:切換到 Search 模式(⌘6),加入一個或多個根目錄,輸入關鍵字後按 Enter,結果即時串流。開啟 Regex 切換器可使用正規表達式。

I can't open the app — macOS says "damaged" or blocks it. / 打不開、顯示「已損壞」或被 macOS 封鎖?

推薦做法 / Recommended: 改用 TestFlight Beta。TestFlight 是 Apple 簽名版,下載後直接開啟,不需要任何額外步驟。
Use TestFlight Beta instead — Apple-signed, opens directly after install.


GitHub DMG 版本的解法(一次性):
macOS Sonoma 對從瀏覽器下載且未公證的 app 會直接封鎖(com.apple.quarantine flag),連右鍵 → 開啟 也沒用。在終端機執行以下指令清除標記:

xattr -cr /Applications/Lode.app
open /Applications/Lode.app

EN (GitHub DMG only — one-time fix):
macOS Sonoma blocks unsigned apps downloaded from a browser (com.apple.quarantine flag). Right-click → Open no longer works. Run in Terminal:

xattr -cr /Applications/Lode.app
open /Applications/Lode.app

This clears the quarantine attribute. One-time only. The Mac App Store version and TestFlight do not require this.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription? / 怎麼取消或管理訂閱?

EN (Mac App Store): Open System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and select Lode. You can cancel, change, or view your subscription there. You can also visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid being charged for another period.
