Every feature is free, and there are no ads. The only in-app purchases are three optional tips ("buy the developer a coffee") inside the grown-ups' area behind the parental gate. They unlock nothing and never appear in the child's part of the app.

That is the single most common issue, and the app already corrects a lot of it: when you tap done, each turn is volume-balanced so quiet takes are lifted to match loud ones. To give it better material to work with, put the device on the table roughly between the two of you rather than in the child's hands, and ask the child to sit back a little — children tend to lean right into the microphone while a grandparent sits half a metre away. If one take still comes out wrong, tap "Again" and redo just that turn instead of restarting the episode.

Each turn stops automatically at 30 seconds. That is intentional — it keeps the episode listenable and keeps a young host moving. If you needed more time, tap "Again" to redo that turn, or simply carry the thought into the next one.

While recording, "Again" replaces the current turn — nothing is kept from the discarded take. Once an episode is finished, the child can move it to the recycle bin from the shelf; a grown-up can restore it for 7 days in the grown-ups' area, after which it is removed for good. There is no "delete" wording anywhere in the child's flow, on purpose.

Yes. Every Taiwanese word shows its romanization on screen as a hint, and nothing is scored or checked — LetPod never tells anyone they are wrong. Plenty of families use the cards purely as prompts and answer in whatever language they like; the point is that the two of them are talking and recording it.

The shelf holds up to 20 episodes. When it is full, move an older one to the recycle bin to make room. The grown-ups' area shows how much storage the recordings are using.

Sharing lives in the grown-ups' area, behind the parental gate: tap the lock in the top-right corner of the home screen, answer the multiplication question (or enter your passcode), then pick the episode and share it through the standard iOS share sheet — messaging, mail, AirDrop, or saving the file. That is deliberately the only way a recording can leave the device.

That's by design. The grown-ups' area sits behind a parental gate — a multiplication question a young child cannot pass by guessing. A grown-up can switch it to a 4-digit passcode there. Language, the mascot voice, sharing, storage, the recycle bin and the tip jar are all on the other side of that gate.

Check that the device volume is up, the silent switch is off, and that the mascot voice is switched on in the grown-ups' area. Bite's voice is synthesized on the device by Apple's system speech, so no internet is needed. If the device is connected to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones, sound may be going there instead.

Recordings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no speech recognition, and no cloud service is involved — trimming and mixing all happen on the device. 這是最常見的一件事，app 本身已經處理掉一大半：按下完成時，每一段都會做音量拉齊，小聲的那段會被拉到跟大聲的差不多。想讓它有更好的素材，把裝置放在兩個人中間的桌上，不要拿在孩子手上，並請孩子稍微往後坐——小孩通常會整個貼到麥克風上吼，阿嬤卻坐在半公尺外。如果某一段還是不理想，按「再一次」只重錄那一回合，不必整集重來。

每一回合滿 30 秒會自動停，這是刻意的——節目才聽得下去，小主持人也才不會卡在同一句。真的需要更多時間，按「再一次」重錄那一回合，或把話留到下一回合講。

錄製中按「再一次」會直接取代這一回合，被換掉的那段不會留下。整集完成後，孩子可以在作品架把它放進回收箱；大人有 7 天可以在家長區救回，之後就永久移除。孩子的流程裡刻意不出現「刪除」這種字。

可以。每個台語詞在畫面上都附羅馬拼音當提示，而且完全不評分、不比對——LetPod 從來不會告訴任何人「你講錯了」。很多家庭就是把卡片當成聊天題目，用什麼語言回答都行；重點是祖孫兩個人真的在講話，而且錄下來了。

作品架最多 20 集。滿了就把比較舊的一集放進回收箱空出位子。家長區可以看到這些錄音佔用多少儲存空間。

分享在家長閘後的家長區：點首頁右上角的鎖，答對乘法題（或輸入你設定的密碼），選一集，用 iOS 標準分享功能送出——傳訊息、寄信、AirDrop 或存成檔案都行。這是刻意設計成錄音離開裝置的唯一途徑。

這是刻意的。家長區在家長閘之後——一道幼童猜不過的乘法題，大人可以在裡面改成 4 位數密碼。語言、吉祥物語音、分享、儲存空間、回收箱與自由讚助，全都在那道閘門的另一邊。

請確認裝置音量已調高、靜音開關已關閉，並在家長區確認吉祥物語音是開啟的。小麥的聲音由 Apple 系統語音在裝置本機合成，不需要網路。另外若裝置連著藍牙喇叭或耳機，聲音可能跑到那邊去了。

錄音只存在你裝置上 app 自己的空間，不上傳、沒有語音辨識、不經任何雲端服務——剪接與混音全在裝置上完成。檔案要離開，只有大人在家長閘後主動分享這一條路。詳見隱私權政策。
