Gomoku Kids respects your device's silent / mute switch (a polite choice for a kids' app). If your iPhone's side switch is set to silent, the game stays quiet. Flip the switch off and turn the volume up. Also check that Sound and Voice are enabled in the app's Settings.

The app follows your device language by default. You can also choose Chinese or English manually in Settings — both the on-screen text and the spoken voice switch together.

Turn on hints. Green = a good move for you (build toward three, four, or five). Orange = danger, where the opponent could threaten next. Each mark also has an icon and text (not color alone) and speaks a short tip when tapped.

Open Settings and adjust the difficulty. The default is easy on purpose, so children win often and stay encouraged. You can also choose two-player mode to play against a parent or friend on the same device.

There are three short lessons: block an opponent's open three, build your own four, and find the five-in-a-row win. A wrong move gets a gentle hint, never a scolding. You can replay them any time from the home screen.

Tap Play with Family on the home screen and open the setup guide. In short: install the app on both devices and sign in under Settings → Game Center; add each other as Game Center friends; on the child's device, set Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Game Center → Multiplayer Games to "Friends Only" and allow Adding Friends. Then a grown-up taps New invite, passes the parental gate and picks the family member; the invite is sent after the child's first move. After that, just tap Play Again. This is almost always Screen Time switching multiplayer off on the child's device. Check Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Game Center: Multiplayer Games should be "Friends Only" and Adding Friends allowed. It isn't a bug in the app.

No. Only Game Center friends can be invited, with no automatic matchmaking; a game carries only moves and five fixed cheer stickers — no free text, no voice. Signing in to Game Center and creating invites both sit behind the parental gate.

五子棋小學堂會尊重裝置的實體靜音鍵（兒童 App 的禮貌做法）。如果 iPhone 側邊開關切到靜音，遊戲就不會出聲。請把靜音鍵關掉、音量調高。也請確認 App 設定裡的「音效」與「語音」開關已開啟。

App 預設跟隨裝置語言，也可以在「設定」裡手動選擇中文或英文——畫面文字與語音會一起切換。

開啟提示後，綠色＝適合你下的好棋（往連三、連四、連五發展）；橘色＝危險，對手下一手可能形成的威脅。每個標記同時有圖示與文字（不只靠顏色），點一下還會講一句小提示。

在「設定」裡調整難度。預設刻意設成輕鬆，讓孩子常贏、保持成就感。也可以選雙人同機模式，跟爸媽或朋友在同一台裝置對戰。

共有三關：堵截對手的活三、把棋連成四、找到能連五的致勝點。下錯只會給溫柔提示，不會責備。隨時可以從首頁重玩。

首頁點「和阿婆下棋」，裡面有設定說明。簡單說：兩台都裝好並在「設定 → Game Center」登入；互加 Game Center 朋友；孩子的裝置到「設定 → 螢幕使用時間 → 內容與隱私權限制 → Game Center」，把「多人遊戲」設為「僅限朋友」、允許「加朋友」。接著由大人按「邀請新對局」、過家長閘、選好家人；孩子下完第一手，邀請才會送出。之後每一局按「再來一局」就好。圖文教學：阿嬤在高雄、孫子在竹北。

幾乎都是孩子裝置的螢幕使用時間把多人遊戲關掉了。請到「設定 → 螢幕使用時間 → 內容與隱私權限制 → Game Center」，確認「多人遊戲」是「僅限朋友」、「加朋友」已允許。這不是程式出錯。

不會。只能邀請 Game Center 朋友，沒有自動配對；棋局裡只傳棋步和五種固定的鼓勵貼圖，沒有自由文字、沒有語音。登入 Game Center 和建立邀請都在家長閘後面。
