Lode for iPhone and iPad collects no personal data. There are no servers operated by us, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no account or login.
What the app stores, and where
- Your notes and files are stored in your own iCloud Drive, inside the container
iCloud.com.rexcode.lode-workspace, managed entirely by Apple under your Apple ID. We never receive, transmit, or have access to their contents. - A small local cache of downloaded files and a short list of recently opened files are kept on your device only (in the app's local storage / UserDefaults). You can clear the cache anytime in Settings.
What we do NOT collect
No telemetry. No analytics. No crash reporting. No cookies. No advertising identifiers. No fingerprinting. No contact, location, or usage data leaves your device.
Syncing
Files sync only between your own devices through Apple iCloud, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. RexCode is not a party to that sync.
Future "Lode Pro"
If a paid "Lode Pro" tier is added later, an in-app purchase is handled entirely by Apple, and any direct-sale license key is validated over HTTPS solely to confirm a purchase. We would not build a personal profile of you.
